Quick recap

Jaskier is about to die in battle when the mysterious Seanchai saves him and asks him to keep a forgotten story alive. It takes place 1,200 years before Geralt, on an Elf-ruled continent. A coup puts the Xin'trean empire in the hands of chief druid Balor, who has been opening portals to other worlds, and Princess Merwyn. Warriors Éile and Fjall gather seven misfits to bring them down, among them Scían, last of the Ghost Clan. Merwyn ends up turning on Balor. Syndril destroys the master monolith, which unleashes the Conjunction of the Spheres and brings monsters into the world. Éile is pregnant with Fjall's child, and a prophecy says one of her descendants will "sing the last."
