Quick recap

With Alpha gone, Beta takes over the Whisperers and goes to war. The communities meet them in the field, but Beta unleashes a massive herd. The Hilltop burns and the Kingdom takes losses. Rick and Negan fight side by side, and Beta dies. The herd heads for Alexandria, and Rick, Andrea and others divert it with a risky plan to save the town. The win comes at a cost: Andrea is bitten and dies with Rick at her side. The volume ends with Rick grieving and the battered communities choosing to carry on together.
