Quick recap

In 2015 a professor buys an old VCR and finds Samara's tape inside. He uses it in an experiment, and students watch it in turns, always passing the copy to the next person. Julia goes after her boyfriend, who dropped out of sight at college, and finds the group. To save him she watches the tape in his place, and hers shows new images: a film hidden in the film. Julia and Holt travel to a small town, follow a clue in Braille and learn where Samara came from. Burning her remains does not bring peace.
