Quick recap

With the Twelve gone, the Texas survivors grow and Peter becomes president. Alicia finds Zero in New York and hears his story: he was Tim Fanning, a friend of Jonas Lear, who lost the woman he loved. Zero sends his virals against Texas to draw Amy out. The colonies fall, and only about 700 survive. Amy returns to human form after being submerged in the sea, and Carter dies helping the group escape by ship. Amy, Alicia, Peter and Michael head to New York, where Amy kills Zero. Michael sails for England. Amy and Peter live together until he grows old. A thousand years later, their descendants return to America and find Amy, who tells the story.
