Quick recap

One Thursday, Arthur Dent finds out his house is about to be demolished. His friend Ford Prefect reveals he's an alien and that the Vogons are about to destroy the whole Earth. The two hitch a ride and get rescued by the Heart of Gold, a ship stolen by Zaphod Beeblebrox, President of the Galaxy, who travels with Trillian. Hunting for the planet Magrathea, the group runs into Humma Kavula, who keeps one of Zaphod's heads, and rescues Trillian from the Vogons. On Magrathea, Arthur watches a new Earth being built and escapes the mice who want his brain. Arthur chooses to travel with Trillian, and they all head for the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.
