Quick recap

Thirteen stories scattered across the history of the First Law world. One shows young Colonel Sand dan Glokta, still arrogant and in one piece, in the war against the Gurkish. Others follow Curnden Craw and his dozen on a theft job in the North, the siege of Dagoska from the inside and Monza Murcatto during a sack. One thread runs through the whole book: Shevedieh, a thief from Westport, and Javre, Lioness of Hoskopp, a huge, fearless warrior, landing in trouble city after city. The stories run from before the trilogy to after Red Country. The book ends with Made a Monster, back with Bethod and his champion, the Bloody-Nine.
