Quick recap

The story opens mid-Battle of Endor, with A-wing pilot Shara Bey flying in the final push. With the Emperor dead, the war should be over, but the Empire still has forces and one last plan: Operation Cinder, which orders strikes on the Empire's own worlds, Naboo among them. Shara and her husband, Kes Dameron, of Han Solo's commando team, go from mission to mission alongside Leia, Han and Luke while thinking about life after the war. The volume ends with Naboo defended and Shara receiving from Luke a cutting from a Force-sensitive tree, which she takes home.
