Quick recap

After the Death Star's destruction, Vader has fallen out of favor and now answers to officers who used to answer to him. He won't accept it. On the surface he follows the Emperor's orders; underneath, he builds an operation of his own, with bounty hunters, archaeologist Doctor Aphra and two killer droids, and heads back to Geonosis for an army. He also learns the Emperor has plans he never shared. Jabba and Boba Fett get pulled in. The volume ends with Boba Fett bringing Vader the name of the pilot who destroyed the Death Star: Skywalker.
