S2E1: the fighter Cassian steals and can barely fly is a TIE Avenger, a ship created for the 1994 game Star Wars: TIE Fighter. The production built a real cockpit and exterior, using Kylo Ren's TIE Whisper as inspiration.

S2E5, "I Have Friends Everywhere": Luthen's gallery has a Sith chalice similar to Palpatine's in Revenge of the Sith. In the same scene there's a Mandalorian helmet based on Ralph McQuarrie's concept art for Boba Fett.
