Quick recap

Eight years after Count Zero, four threads converge. Mona, a teenage sex worker who looks like simstim star Angie Mitchell, is hired for a gig that hides a plot to kidnap Angie. Kumiko, a yakuza boss's daughter, is sent to London and ends up under the protection of Molly, now going by Sally Shears. Slick Henry, a robot artist in Dog Solitude, is pressured into looking after Bobby Newmark, comatose and jacked into an Aleph. Sally foils the kidnapping and takes Angie and Mona to Slick's Factory. Angie and Bobby move permanently into the Aleph, and their bodies die. Mona takes Angie's place and the Aleph gets ready to reach out to an alien AI near Alpha Centauri.
