Quick recap

Sick, Donald stays awake in Silo 1 and keeps in touch by radio with Juliette, now mayor of Silo 18, and with Lukas. Juliette wants to reach Silo 17 by digging underground. From what Donald tells her and from her own tests, she learns that the gas pumped into the airlock isn't argon: it's nanobots, and the outside air was never the problem. Silo 1 strikes back, Silo 18 is overrun, and Lukas dies. Donald destroys Silo 1's reactor before he dies, and his sister, Charlotte, escapes. Juliette leads the survivors to the surface, to a shelter called Seed, in a world that has come back to life.
