Quick recap

Under pressure from Benedict Lightwood, Charlotte gets two weeks from the Council to find Mortmain. Tessa, Will and Jem investigate in York. Will confesses to Magnus that he believes he's cursed: everyone he loves dies. At a Lightwood ball, the group learns Benedict has sided with Mortmain. Jessamine, manipulated by Nate, betrays the Institute. In the trap set for Nate, Tessa tricks an automaton into fatally wounding him, and Will gets hurt. The demon Marbas reveals that Will's curse never existed. Will finally tells Tessa he loves her, but she has already accepted Jem's proposal. At the end, Will's sister Cecily arrives demanding training.
