Quick recap

Rambo is serving time in a labor prison when Trautman turns up with an offer: freedom in exchange for a mission in Vietnam. He is to photograph a POW camp and avoid combat. The operation's boss, Murdock, only wants proof that nobody is there. Rambo finds living Americans, tries to bring one out, and Murdock cancels the extraction and abandons them. Rambo is captured and tortured by the Soviets, escapes with his guide Co Bao and goes back to free every prisoner. Then he settles accounts with Murdock and asks for nothing but recognition for veterans.
