Quick recap
A series of 18 shorts revisiting moments from the first six generations of games, from Kanto to Kalos, outside the anime's continuity. Each episode shows a moment from a different angle: Detective Looker investigating Team Rocket, Lance at the Lake of Rage, Team Magma and Team Aqua awakening Groudon and Kyogre, Deoxys versus Rayquaza in space, Cyrus and Giratina, Team Plasma and Kyurem in Unova, and Lysandre's conspiracy in Kalos. The game protagonists mostly appear without speaking. The last episode closes with Kalos's new Champion battling AZ, who finally lets go of his guilt over the ancient war.
