One Piece: The Movie

The first film, non-canon. The pirate El Drago, who ate the Goe Goe Fruit and attacks with his voice, is hunting the treasure of the legendary Woonan and sinks the Straw Hats' boat, splitting the crew. Luffy and Zoro meet young Tobio and his grandfather Ganzo, who runs an oden stand. Usopp fools El Drago's crew by posing as Woonan's friend. On the island, Ganzo reveals he was Woonan's childhood friend. Luffy beats El Drago, and all they find is Woonan's skeleton and a note: he gave up on gold. Ganzo gives his friend a grave, and Nami walks off with El Drago's treasure.

• Mid-credits The credits slip in a gag: Ganzo's oden-stand boat drifts past the Baratie while a puzzled Sanji watches. The film opened just as the anime reached the Baratie.
