Quick recap

After Whole Cake Island, Morgans' paper calls Luffy the fifth Emperor, and his bounty jumps to 1.5 billion. In Mary Geoise, kings from around the world gather for the Levely. Vivi, Rebecca and Shirahoshi show up, Kuma appears as a slave of the Celestial Dragons, and the Revolutionary Army's commanders arrive with a plan. Shanks visits the Five Elders to talk about a certain pirate. At the end, a mysterious figure, Imu, is shown sitting on the Empty Throne no one is supposed to occupy, eyeing a picture of Vivi. Left open: the news the Levely is about to produce.

Hidden details

  1. Behind the scenesAn arc without the whole crew

It's the first arc that doesn't feature every Straw Hat: in the manga, Franky and Jinbe are absent. The anime slips them in through flashbacks.

  2. ReferenceThe meeting first seen at Drum

The Levely first came up back in the Drum Island Arc. Now the series takes us inside the four-yearly gathering of kings.

  3. Behind the scenesShort on purpose

This arc was kept short on purpose, and it's the only one that isn't built around a Straw Hat adventure in its main setting.
