Episode 907, aired during Wano to mark the anime's 20th anniversary, adapting an early version of Romance Dawn, the one-shot that came before the series. Outside the timeline, Luffy sails in search of adventure-seeking pirates, the "Piece Mains." He meets Balloon, a creature the sorcerer pirate Speil wants, and rescues Anne, Balloon's friend, held captive because of it. Luffy escapes with his rubber powers, Speil ends up wrecking his own ship, and Luffy beats him and saves Balloon. The episode closes saying the world would soon know the name Monkey D. Luffy.
