Tobi, the Akatsuki's masked man, traps Naruto and Sakura in a genjutsu, and they wake up in a flipped world. There, Minato and Kushina are alive; the ones who died protecting the village were Sakura's parents, and she's treated as the child of heroes. Their friends have reversed personalities. To get back, the two hunt for the Red Moon Scroll, and Naruto, wary at first, grows attached to this world's parents. A masked man attacks the village and turns out to be Menma, Naruto's alternate self, while Tobi tries to rip out the Nine-Tailed Fox. With Sakura, Minato and Kushina, Naruto beats Tobi and returns. Sakura reunites with her real parents, and Naruto makes up with Iruka, realizing his friends are already his family.
