Filler arc. Naruto, Sakura, Team 8, and Might Guy get pulled into the case of Yakumo Kurama, heir to a clan of genjutsu masters. She blames Kurenai, her former teacher, for sealing her powers. Kurenai was only following the Third Hokage's orders: inside Yakumo's mind lives a malevolent entity, the Idō, which uses her talent to create illusions that can truly hurt. The genjutsu attacks spread, and Kurenai has to face her former student. In the end Yakumo overcomes the Idō and makes peace with her teacher.
