Quick recap

Obito refuses Madara's hand and turns on him. Two filler episodes show how Team Minato was formed. Guy opens the Eighth Gate and nearly takes Madara down alone. On the brink of death, Naruto meets Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, who tells him how ninshū began. Two more filler episodes show Konohamaru learning the Rasengan. In the end, Madara casts the Infinite Tsukuyomi and traps almost everyone in a dream, except Team 7. Episodes 427 to 431 are filler showing the dreams of Tenten, Killer Bee and others, ending with Karin's memories.

  1. ReferenceGuy's eight gates

    Guy opens the eighth gate against Madara, the same chakra gates Rock Lee opened against Gaara in the Chūnin Exams. The arc also shows Duy, Guy's father, who taught him the technique.
