Filler arc: Chōchō and other standalone episodes
Yes. It's in the Main story, the list of only what moves the plot forward to the end of the saga.
Four standalone filler episodes. Teams 7 and 10 guard two actors who are getting death threats, and Chōchō falls for the heartthrob Tomaru during the shoot; a masked ninja kidnaps him, and the group rescues him. Then Metal Lee battles anxiety while trying to master the Eight Gates under his father, Rock Lee, and gains confidence with Might Guy's help. None of the episodes touch the main plot.
