Quick recap

In Narnia's last days, Shift the ape dresses Puzzle the donkey in a lion's skin and passes him off as Aslan. In the false lion's name, he has the forests cut down and hands the country to the Calormenes. King Tirian calls on the friends of Narnia, and Eustace and Jill arrive. The fight is lost in front of a stable where everyone is thrown inside. In there, Tirian finds Aslan and the old kings and queens, all but Susan. Aslan brings Narnia to an end: the stars fall and the world goes dark. The friends learn they died in a railway accident in England and walk into the true Narnia, where, the book says, the story is only beginning.
