Quick recap

With Ruin loose, ash falls nonstop, the ground shakes and the mists kill by day. Vin and Elend, now emperor, crisscross the empire hunting the caches the Lord Ruler hid. Sazed loses his faith, and Marsh, Kelsier's brother and a Steel Inquisitor, serves Ruin. In Luthadel, Vin loses the earring that let Ruin influence her, draws in the power of the mists and destroys the Inquisitors. Elend leads an army of Allomancers against the koloss and is killed by Marsh. Grieving, Vin hurls herself at Ruin and both are destroyed. Sazed takes up the powers of Preservation and Ruin, becomes Harmony and remakes the world, bringing back clear skies, green plants and flowers.
