Quick recap

After a surfing accident and a year and a half fighting a painkiller addiction, Mickey Haller gets back to practicing law when he inherits the whole caseload of Jerry Vincent, a murdered colleague. The big one is Trevor Elliott, a video game designer accused of killing his wife, Lara, and her lover. With Lorna, Cisco and his new driver Izzy, Mickey builds the defense while trying to find out who killed Jerry. Trevor is acquitted but is shot dead soon after. Mickey learns Jerry had bribed Judge Holder to rig the jury, and the judge is arrested.
