Quick recap

Denver crime reporter Jack McEvoy is told his twin brother, Detective Sean, killed himself. Jack doesn't believe it. In Sean's last case, he finds other cops who died the same way, each leaving a one-line note quoting Edgar Allan Poe. The FBI names the killer the Poet and lets Jack onto the team, where he gets involved with agent Rachel Walling. A pedophile, William Gladden, looks like the culprit, but Jack realizes he was set up as a scapegoat. The real Poet is Robert Backus, the FBI agent running the case. Rachel knocks him out a window, and a body found later doesn't settle whether it's him. Jack sets out to write a book about it.
