Quick recap

FBI profiler Terry McCaleb is chasing the Code Killer when he has a heart attack mid-pursuit. Two years later, retired and living on a boat, he has a heart transplant. Graciella Rivers tells him the heart belonged to her sister Gloria, killed in a robbery, and asks for help. With no badge, McCaleb digs in with his neighbor Buddy Noone and Detective Jaye Winston. Two suspects turn up dead, and he realizes Buddy is the killer: he murdered Gloria so McCaleb would get her heart. Buddy kidnaps Graciella and her nephew. McCaleb tracks them to a wrecked Coast Guard ship, saves them and shoots Buddy. In the end, he and Graciella end up together.
