Quick recap

Alvar remembers nothing, and the Council puts him under watch at the Vacker estate. Fitz protests and moves out. In a Neverseen ambush, Umber's shadowflux pierces Fitz's chest and breaks Sophie's hand, leaving echoes that cause pain. Sophie decides to learn to fight and builds a protection team. She and Fitz admit their feelings. Silveny goes into labor with twins, and Sophie commits to an alliance with the trolls to save them. In a trap at the Celestial Festival, Vespera restores Alvar's memories, and he goes back to his old side. Lady Gisela forces Tam to join the Neverseen to protect Linh and the alicorns, and takes him. The babies hatch. In the end Sophie registers for matchmaking and is labeled unmatchable.
