Quick recap

In 2017, 33 years after losing to Daniel at the 1984 tournament, Johnny Lawrence is an alcoholic handyman in Reseda, estranged from his son Robby. Daniel owns a car dealership chain and is doing well. Johnny defends his neighbor Miguel from a group of bullies and reopens Cobra Kai to train him. The dojo draws in outcasts, and the rivalry with Daniel returns. Daniel opens Miyagi-Do with his daughter Sam and with Robby, Johnny's son, whose identity he doesn't know. At the All Valley, Miguel beats Robby, and Johnny realizes his methods have corrupted the kid.
