Quick recap

Hitchhiking out of Nebraska toward Virginia, Reacher accepts a ride from Donald McQueen, Alan King and Karen Delfuenso. Soon he takes the wheel while the two men sleep. Police are looking for the killers of a man stabbed at an old pumping station, and Reacher sees the woman seems kidnapped when she blinks in code. He learns the two men are the wanted ones. He alerts the cops, but the group has left. FBI agent Julia Sorenson and Sheriff Victor Goodman follow the lead, and Reacher is caught in the middle of the run.
