Quick recap

Peaches is a teenager, and Manny turns overprotective. Sid ends up with his granny, dropped off by his family. Scrat cracks the continents apart, and Manny, Sid, Granny and Diego drift away on an ice floe, far from Ellie, Peaches and the rest of the herd. The four fall into the hands of Captain Gutt's pirates, led by a Gigantopithecus. Shira, his first mate, eventually switches sides. Meanwhile Peaches learns her new friends are fake and comes to value her pal Louis. In the end Manny beats Gutt, the family reunites and the herd settles on a new island.
