Hotel Transylvania: The Series

The series shows Mavis at 114, in the days when her father is away at the Vampire Council. Aunt Lydia takes over the hotel and tries to keep order, but Mavis and her best friends, Wendy Blob, Hank N. Stein and Pedro, just want fun. Each episode brings a new mess with guests, curses and creatures. Season one ends at Mavis's 115th birthday party. Season two follows the gang until Dracula's return to the hotel. It is set four years before the first film.

   The series' voice cast is based in Toronto, Canada, and no actor from the films came back. Mavis is voiced by Bryn McAuley, and Dracula by David Berni in season one and Ivan Sherry in season two.

2. SetupFour years before the first film

   The series takes place four years before the first film, with Mavis at 114. Dracula is away at the Vampire Council, and Aunt Lydia runs the hotel. The season one finale, "Fangceañera", is Mavis's 115th birthday party.

3. Behind the scenesA co-production with Nelvana

   Sony Pictures Animation announced the series in July 2015 as a co-production with Canada's Nelvana. It premiered on Disney Channel on June 25, 2017, was renewed for a second season in September 2018, and ended on October 29, 2020.
