Quick recap

Poirot visits his dentist, Mr Morley, and hours later Morley is found shot dead. It looks like suicide over a drug mistake, since a Greek patient dies of an anesthetic overdose soon after. Another patient, Miss Sainsbury Seale, disappears. Among Morley's clients was Alistair Blunt, a powerful banker on whom the country's stability depends. Weeks later a body with a battered face turns up in a flat. Poirot finds that Blunt was a bigamist: his first wife was alive, and a witness could expose him. To protect himself he killed Morley, the witness and others. Poirot hands the banker over to the police, even though many would rather he stayed free.
