Quick recap

Twenty years after the original, Laurie Strode has faked her own death and lives in California as Keri Tate. She runs a private school and raises her 17-year-old son, John. The fear never left: Laurie drinks, has nightmares and controls John's every move. In October, John and a few classmates are nearly alone on campus. Michael finds her address and shows up. Laurie realizes running isn't working and decides to face her brother. It's a direct sequel to Part II, ignoring Parts 4, 5 and 6.
