Quick recap

Steve Boswell is punished with coaching a first-grade soccer team that torments him. For Halloween payback, he wants a mask as horrifying as the one Carly Beth wore the year before, and ignores her warning that it was evil. He sneaks into the basement of the closed party store and runs off with a disgusting old-man mask. When he puts it on, it fuses to his skin, and he becomes a real old man. The kids, feeling sorry for him, take him to Carly Beth. In the basement they find the old-man suit that goes with the mask, and it lifts right off. On the way home, his friend Chuck shows up in a stolen mask that won't come off.
