Quick recap

Zackie Beauchamp wants to be a horror writer. In an antique shop wrecked by lightning, he gets a shock grabbing an old typewriter, and the owner lets him keep it. Whatever he types comes true: a storm, a blackout, his dad vanishing, annoying Adam knocking at the door. So Zackie writes a story about a giant blob that swallows the whole town. On Saturday the blob is in the streets eating people, Adam included. With his friend Alex, he tries to type an ending, but the keys jam. Zackie realizes the power is his own imagination, wishes everything back, and the blob disappears. The twist: it was all a story the blob was telling other monsters. They find the ending too sad, so the blob rewrites it and eats everyone.
