Quick recap

Lindy finds a ventriloquist's dummy in a dumpster, names him Slappy, and becomes a hit in the neighborhood. Her twin Kris gets jealous, so their dad buys her another dummy, Mr. Wood. Soon he's insulting everyone and trashing the house. Lindy admits to the first pranks, but Kris has already read aloud some strange words from a card in the dummy's pocket, and he has come alive. At the school concert, Mr. Wood spews green goo on the audience, then tells the sisters they are his slaves. Nothing stops him until the twins lure him in front of a steamroller, which crushes him. Back in their room, Slappy asks if the other dummy is gone.
