Quick recap

Trina and Dan O'Dell love the ventriloquist dummies their dad keeps in the attic. One day he brings home Slappy, found in a dumpster. Trina reads aloud the words on a paper in his pocket, and Slappy slaps her. When cousin Zane comes to stay, the dummy Rocky keeps turning up in strange places, and the siblings get blamed. They catch Zane moving Rocky, but then find Slappy alive in the attic, calling them his slaves. When they try to put him to sleep, the other dummies wake and turn on Slappy, and they all freeze as Zane walks in. Grounded, Trina gives Slappy to Zane as a parting gift. From the car, Slappy winks at her.
