Quick recap

Sammy Jacobs loves ghosts and science fiction, unlike his family of scientists. His bedroom window keeps opening by itself, food goes missing, and an invisible hand solves a math problem for him at the board. Then a voice introduces itself: Brent Green, an invisible boy who wants to be his best friend. Nobody believes Sammy, and the whole school starts making fun of him. Brent ruins a relay race and even scares Sammy and Roxanne in an abandoned house. To prove his story, Sammy uses his dad's Molecule Detector Light and reveals Brent's body, which he finds monstrous: one head, two arms, no antennae. The twist: Brent is human. Sammy's family isn't, and his dad suggests sending Brent to the zoo, since humans are endangered.
