Quick recap

Jack Johnson keeps losing to Wilson Schlamme, who has to win everything, especially around Mia. Running from a party, Jack falls into the basement of an abandoned house and finds a book called Flying Lessons. He follows the recipe, drinks the potion, and learns to fly. Wilson steals the book and learns too. The rivalry becomes a race in front of the whole school, and Jack loses. Soon scientists, the government, and his own dad, a talent agent, all want a piece of him. At the big race against Wilson, before thousands of people, Jack just doesn't fly. Everyone thinks he lost his power, and Wilson gets famous. The twist: Jack faked it. He got his normal life back, and some nights he still flies over Malibu.
