Quick recap

The story picks up where the last one ended: Sera and Nyktos are in the hands of Kolis, who believes she is the reincarnation of Sotoria, his lost love. Nyktos is wounded and imprisoned, and Sera ends up in a gilded cage, put on display at court. She pretends, lies and learns from Attes that she isn't Sotoria, but that Sotoria's soul is trapped inside her. Holding the diamond called the Star, Sera sees Kolis's crimes against his own brother. She frees Nyktos and puts Kolis into stasis with a blade made from an Ancient's bone. Dying, she asks to see her lake one last time. Nyktos tries to Ascend her, and it works: she becomes the true Primal of Life, and the blight ends.
