Quick recap

Luce uses a shadow to travel back into her past lives, even as Daniel begs her not to, and he follows her across the centuries. Cursed to die and be reborn every 17 years, she wants to find where the curse comes from. Along the way she teams up with Bill, a gargoyle who promises answers. She sees that Daniel has chosen her again and again. She decides to end the curse by destroying her own soul, then backs out at the last second. Bill reveals he is Satan, who wanted to drag Daniel to the dark side. In the end, Luce and Daniel rejoin the fallen angels to get ready for the fight against him.
