Spoilers for this title

Quick recap

Ash and his girlfriend Linda go to an abandoned cabin and play a tape of passages from the Necronomicon. The demonic force returns, and Ash must behead Linda and fight his own possessed hand, which he cuts off with a chainsaw. The archaeologist's daughter and other visitors arrive with the book's missing pages. It's a half-remake restart, faster and funnier, that turns Ash into the hero everyone knows. The cabin, the tape and the book are back, but now with slapstick humor, geysers of blood and a camera that seems to chase the characters.
