Quick recap

While dismembering a pedophile, Dexter is seen by a witness who flees in a battered Honda. Later the stranger, whom Dexter calls the Shadow, recognizes him and tries to blackmail him by email. The Shadow is Bernard Elan, a skilled hacker, who mutilates his ex-wife in Dexter's style and wipes himself from the databases. He kills Camilla Figg, Dexter's coworker, and goes by Doug Crowley. Dexter asks Brian to deal with the Shadow, but Brian kills the real Doug Crowley. In Key West, the Shadow kidnaps Cody and Astor. With Astor's help, Dexter subdues him, and a shark finishes him off. Afterward, Dexter finds a way to clear himself.
