Quick recap

A network comes to Miami to shoot a cop show and hires Dexter and Deborah as technical advisers. Dexter is paired with washed-up actor Robert Chase, who shadows him to study the part and soon raises red flags. Women who look like the show's star, Jackie Forrest, start turning up dead. Dexter becomes Jackie's bodyguard, kills a man he thinks is her obsessed fan and starts an affair with her. The real culprit is Robert, a pedophile who killed Jackie's assistant and then Jackie herself. Robert knocks Dexter out and lures Astor, who ends up killing him. Robert also murdered Rita, the only person who could clear Dexter. Out of options, Dexter waits for the police.
