Quick recap

Diana grows up on Themyscira dreaming of the world outside. When Captain Steve Trevor's plane goes down near the island, she wins the contest to decide who will take him home and heads to America without speaking English. There she's placed in military custody and befriends Etta Candy and linguist Barbara Minerva, who helps her communicate. Diana discovers the gods of Olympus have given her gifts and learns to use them. A terrorist group, manipulated by forces tied to Ares, attacks a mall, and she springs into action in front of everyone. In the end, she beats the threat, fully takes on her role in Man's World, and becomes Wonder Woman in the public eye.
