Quick recap

Five years ago, superheroes are still viewed with suspicion. Batman and Green Lantern meet while chasing an alien creature through Gotham and head to Metropolis to find Superman, who greets them with his fists. The Flash joins in, and soon Wonder Woman and Aquaman do too. The creatures were scouts for Darkseid, who invades Earth through portals. In Detroit, young athlete Victor Stone is caught in the attack and his father saves him with alien tech, creating Cyborg. Darkseid captures Superman, and the bickering group learns to fight as one. In the end, Cyborg reverses the portals, Darkseid is sent back, and the world cheers the new Justice League.
