Dr. Smolder Bravestone

Spencer lands in detention with Fridge, Bethany and Martha and picks Bravestone on the console. In the game he gets Dwayne Johnson's body, three lives and no weaknesses.

Spencer got detention for doing homework for Fridge, the friend who drifted away from him. Inside the game the roles flip: Spencer is the giant, and Fridge is the little guy carrying the weapons.

The shock doesn't last. Guide Nigel lays out the mission: return the Jaguar's Eye to the giant statue. The villain Van Pelt stole it and now controls the jungle's animals.

Spencer, who used to run from any fight, starts leading the way. His friendship with Fridge, now in Mouse's small body, gets rocky and then mends.

Along the way, he grows close to Martha and meets Alex, the boy who has been stuck in the game far longer. Alex is a pilot, and with him flying a helicopter the group escapes Van Pelt's henchmen.

The group reaches the statue, returns the jewel and shouts "Jumanji." Spencer is back in his own body, more confident, and ends up with Martha.

Alex reappears in 1996, on the day he vanished, and in the present the four learn he grew up and became a family man. The friends smash the console so no one else gets pulled in.

Spencer fixes the game and goes back in, but the glitch scrambles everything. This time Bravestone belongs to his grandpa Eddie, who complains about the body, forgets what he's doing and fights with his old friend Milo. Outside the game, Eddie feels old and forgotten; inside, he loves his new strength.

Spencer, inside cat burglar Ming, has to pull the group back together.

A magic spring lets them swap avatars, and Spencer becomes Bravestone again for the showdown with Jurgen the Brutal. The group recovers the Falcon Jewel and saves Jumanji.

Eddie comes out of the adventure at peace with Milo.

Dwayne Johnson plays Bravestone in both movies. Alex Wolff is Spencer outside the game, and Danny DeVito is Grandpa Eddie.
