Po

Ten years before he becomes the Dragon Warrior, little Po is minding the shop while his dad is out. He sneezes into Shifu's soup and makes the master sick. Then, without meaning to, he helps Tigress gather the future Furious Five. That's where his love of kung fu begins.

As an adult, Po still serves noodles and dreams of kung fu. On the day the Dragon Warrior is chosen, he straps himself to a chair full of fireworks to get into the palace and crashes right in front of Oogway, who points at him. Shifu and the Five look down on him. Shifu figures out he learns when food is involved. When he sees the Dragon Scroll is just a reflection, Po realizes there's no secret ingredient and beats Tai Lung.

Fighting Lord Shen's wolves, Po has flashes of being a baby. Mr. Ping tells him he found him in a radish crate. Po learns Shen attacked the pandas and that his mother hid him to save him. He accepts his past, reaches inner peace and sends the peacock's cannonballs right back.

Li Shan, Po's biological father, turns up in the Valley of Peace, and Mr. Ping gets jealous. Li takes his son to the hidden panda village. When Kai starts stealing the masters' chi, Po has to learn to teach. He trains the pandas in what each does best, faces Kai in the Spirit Realm and becomes a master of chi. Oogway hands him his staff.

Shifu tells Po he has to become Spiritual Leader and pick a new Dragon Warrior. Po resists. Hunting the Chameleon, he teams up with fox thief Zhen, who betrays him and gets him captured. Zhen comes back sorry, they beat the villain together, and Po picks Zhen as his successor, much to Shifu's dismay.

Jack Black voices Po in all four movies, the specials and The Dragon Knight. In Legends of Awesomeness and The Paws of Destiny, Mick Wingert does the voice.
