Nemo

Nemo wants to go to school and see the reef, but Marlin keeps saying it's dangerous. Near the drop-off, where the reef meets open sea, his classmates dare him to touch a boat. To prove he is brave, he swims to the hull, touches it and is caught by divers.

Nemo is dropped into a dentist's tank in Sydney, where he meets the Tank Gang, led by Gill, a scarred Moorish idol. They tell him the dentist plans to give him to his niece, Darla, who has a habit of killing her pet fish. Nemo agrees to join an escape plan: clog the filter so the dentist will take everyone out of the tank.

A pelican, Nigel, stops by the office and tells the tank that a clownfish is crossing the ocean after his son. Nemo realizes his father never gave up on him and clogs the filter. The plan fails, because the dentist cleans the tank overnight, but Nemo keeps his courage.

When his dad reaches the office, Nemo is lying still, playing dead to escape Darla. Marlin thinks he is dead. Gill helps Nemo escape down the drain to the harbor. Then Nemo saves Dory by swimming into the fishing net and leading the fish downward. Father and son go home, and Nemo starts school.

A year later, Nemo is Dory's neighbor and helps her when she remembers she has family. With his smaller fin, he crosses the Pacific with Marlin and Dory, riding currents among sea turtles. Hayden Rolence takes over Nemo's voice, as Alexander Gould's voice had deepened.

In Finding Dory, Nemo goes with his dad to the institute to find Dory. He ends up in the truck taking animals to Cleveland, beside Marlin and the octopus Hank. Dory talks Hank into helping, and the two drive the truck into the sea, freeing everyone. Nemo returns to the reef with the family he has built, now including Dory's parents.

Alexander Gould voices Nemo in Finding Nemo. In Finding Dory he returns as the driver Carl, and Hayden Rolence takes over the fish.
