Leon S. Kennedy

In Retribution, Leon leads, with Barry and Luther, a rescue team organized by Wesker. The three enter the Moscow simulation and are surrounded by a Las Plagas horde.

In the reboot, Leon is a rookie cop on the night Raccoon City falls. He teams up with Claire, escapes a Licker thanks to Lisa Trevor and, at the end, kills the mutated William Birkin with a rocket launcher.

In Degeneration, Leon is a federal agent who arrives at Harvardville Airport with police. He meets Claire again and investigates a terrorist's plan.

In 2006, Leon looks into the White House hack and ends up in a submarine with Shen May and Jason. He meets Claire again and rescues her from Wilson's lab.

In 2011, Leon enters the Eastern Slav Republic, finds a Licker commanded by a man and allies with rebels. He fights Buddy and watches Ada Wong take a Las Plagas sample.

In 2014, Leon lives in Colorado guilt-ridden over having to kill an infected team. Chris and Rebecca seek him out and he agrees to help. He faces Arias in New York and kills the Tyrant beside Chris.

In 2015, Leon is sent after Dr. Taylor in San Francisco and crosses paths with Maria Gomez again. In the end he kills Maria and fights alongside the others against Dylan.

Cregger said he wouldn't tell Leon's story in the 2026 film, because the games already told it. In the animations, Leon is voiced in English by Matthew Mercer in Vendetta.
